Fewer listings hit the market between June and July this year however a lot less sold so we have increased in inventory. My feeling is we are temporarily idle. Have you seen those interest rates lately?! The buyers and sellers are just on vacation and we are experiencing the calm before the storm.

Yikes. Call U-haul and ask them what their busiest month is and they’ll tell you June…yet, our inventory is UP again this month from last month. Could it be due to new build sales, the super hot rental market, or maybe because (according to strong Federal information released) interest rates are soon to be on the rise? It’s a little too early for the “hot” home selling season to be dying down. Sellers, price accordingly or you won’t sell.
