Hello world, I’m 418 N Robson and I’ve been around for a long, long time. I remember the big flood of 1946, when “Pepper Square” was a Greyhound Bus Depot and when the Majestic was still a theater. A lot of me is still original however my current family loved me enough to add additional space and I went from a 900sqft home to a 2600sqft. They have been with me for over 13 years and have loved me every second I am very sad to see them go but their family has finally outgrown me. Some think that my lot location is not ideal and that it might be bothersome because University is so much bigger now than it ever used to be but there is soooo much space in between and I’m further north than most people think. My family will be the first to tell you that the location has never been an issue and you cannot hear traffic at night while you are sleeping or from the kitchen while making dinner. My enormous lot has given my family lots of space to play and entertain. My character, history, functionality and charm is ready for another and I can’t wait to make new memories with a new family that will love me just as much. Is that you?

This is it! That perfect blend of history, charm, and location. Mesa’s very own Robson Historic District has quite the significant history! Also known as Pomeroy Place, this neighborhood was platted by Frank T. and S. Dora Pomeroy, early Mesa pioneers. West 2nd Street district, the neighborhood to the East, was home to the most prominent middle to upper class families in the early 1900’s and, because of that, 2nd Street itself was often called, ”Millionaire Row”. On a street with tree lined medians (one of the very few tree lined medians in Mesa), 100 year old trees, and neighbors that have passed their homes from generation to generation lies this gem built in 1936.

The charm begins at the curb and doesn’t stop! The incredible refinished “real” hardwood floors, along with original kitchen and bathroom create the perfect look and feel that you would expect from a historic community.

The oversized lot has a very cool and very old 2 story detached building that has quite a history and offers versatility. The commercial / residential zoning makes it easy to run a business out of this location or make it a great Airbnb rental or primary residence.

This is a walk-able community! The police station is at the end of the street on Robson which is sure to keep things nice and quiet in the neighborhood. On your walk you can visit the “secret garden”, the “hanging tree”, 3 different museums, the MAC (world-renowned arts center), the Mesa Farmers Market (every Friday from 8am to 12pm), and a variety of eclectic shops and restaurants. While you are at it, grab a ride to Tempe or Phoenix on the train but don’t forget to stop at Inside the Bungalow first for an amazing cup of joe. Say hello to Betty for me!

The large master bathroom with double sinks and huge walk in shower with glass surround is a dream! The framed mirror and perfectly laid tile perfect the look.
